releasr ("we", "us", "our") operates smart-link pages for independent music labels. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used when you visit a releasr routing page.
When you visit a smart-link page we automatically record:
sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab)
releasr does not set any first-party cookies. The session identifier
described above is stored in sessionStorage, not a cookie,
and is not shared with third parties.
Labels may configure third-party analytics pixels (see Section 4). Those services may set their own cookies in accordance with their privacy policies.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via the Measurement Protocol to count page views and DSP-click events server-side. No client-side GA4 JavaScript is loaded by releasr itself. Click data is sent to Google's servers and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Labels (the music companies that use releasr) may configure one or more advertising pixels for their campaigns:
Pixel forwarding is configured by each label and constitutes an opt-in at the label level. If you do not wish to be tracked by a label's pixel, you may disable JavaScript in your browser or use a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts.
Click events are stored in our database for analytics purposes. We do not sell or share this data with third parties other than the analytics processors described above.
If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK you may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Because we do not store any directly identifying personal data (no name, email, or raw IP), it may not be possible to locate records relating to a specific individual. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
